Missing character bug affects Twitter links sent via iMessage

Some users are reporting that inline rich Twitter links in iMessage are showing tweets with missing characters.
In a report by 9to5Mac earlier today, iMessage users are reporting that tweet previews from Twitter links in iMessages failed to show the entire tweet. Users have reported that the bug has happened as early as Thursday.
Links sent through iMessage are parsed from Apple’s servers to generate a rich preview inside the message thread. Links to tweets will show a preview of the full text.
As this is likely a server-side issue with either Twitter or iMessage’s servers, the problem should be fixed remotely sometime soon.
Rich links have been a feature in iMessage since iOS 10.
